We’ve rented a stunning Italian villa with breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, Capri, and Mount Vesuvius. Throughout the week, you’ll have the chance to explore Sorrento and Nerano, take a boat tour of Capri and discover its beauty, learn to cook authentic Italian cuisine, relax by the villa’s pool and gardens, and so much more.

This retreat is a perfect opportunity to reconnect with yourself, bond with like-minded individuals, deepen your yoga practice, immerse yourself in Italian culture, and create unforgettable memories.

Travel Information

Getting Here

We recommend flying into Naples-Capodichino International Airport (NAP) or Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO).

If you choose to fly into Rome, you’ll be responsible for your transportation to either Napoli Centrale Train Station or directly to the villa. The journey from Rome to Naples takes approximately one hour by train or just over two hours by car.

For guests arriving via Naples, we’ll arrange transportation from Naples Airport or Napoli Centrale Train Station to the villa on August 30th, 2025, and provide return transportation on September 6th, 2025.


Check-in time is 3:00 pm on August 30th, and check-out time is 10:00 am on September 6th.

NOTE: Flights, gratuities, some meals, additional shuttles, and spending money are not included in the price of your retreat. We recommend setting aside $10 per day per person for the local staff who will be taking care of you at the villa.

Gratuities for shuttle drivers, who will transport you to and from various destinations, are suggested at $2-5 per transfer (approximately two shuttle rides per day).

Weather

The weather in Amalfi, Italy in August and September iswarm and sunny, with temperatures in the 70s and 80s during the day and cooler in the evenings:

  • August: One of the warmest months in the area 
  • September: A great time to visit, with temperatures in the high 80s during the day and 60s in the evenings 
  • Rainfall: Typically around two inches (50mm) per month 
  • Sea temperature: Warm in September from being warmed by the sun all summer 
  • Crowds: The Amalfi Coast is busy in the summer, but September is less crowded than July and August 

Some recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater for the mornings and evenings.

Food Options

What food is included during the retreat?

  • A daily continental European breakfast is included.
  • Two gourmet Italian dinners at the villa, prepared by a private chef. Enjoy the delicacies of local cuisine on the villa’s rooftop terrace while being pampered by our chef and staff, who will satisfy even the most discerning palates.
  • three-course dinner cooking class where you’ll learn to prepare authentic Italian dishes.
  • An authentic Neapolitan pizza party dinner at the villa.
  • One dinner out at La Tagliata in Positano, where you can order from the menu.

What about the other meals?
All other meals will be on your own, giving you the opportunity to explore and sample the incredible local cuisine.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Yes! If you are gluten-free or vegan, we can accommodate your needs for all private chef-prepared meals. Please let us know your preferences in advance.

What can I expect from Italian cuisine?
Italian food is celebrated worldwide for its simplicity and fresh ingredients. Expect plenty of seasonal produce, handmade pastas, fresh seafood, and artisanal cheeses. Depending on the season, Villa Solaria may include products from its own farm to enhance your culinary experience.

This trip is nonrefundable. We advise purchasing trip insurance, which can be obtained HERE.

Refund Policy

All sales for retreats and trainings are final. Due to the planning and preparation required for these events, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including cancellations, schedule conflicts, or personal circumstances.

We recommend considering travel insurance or similar options to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.
