Join us for a two-night getaway near Starved Rock, Illinois! We’ll be staying on a beautiful property surrounded by acres of lush forests, ponds, rivers, and wildlife, all set on a former 19th-century brickyard. This retreat offers a fun, camp-like atmosphere with the comfort of luxury accommodations, AC, and WiFi.
Each day, we’ll practice yoga, share delicious meals, and gather around the bonfire each evening for gourmet s’mores. During the day, we’ll explore Starved Rock and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surrounding forests and waterfalls. This trip is a chance to deepen your practice, reconnect with the natural world, and bond with a warm, supportive community.

All sales for retreats and trainings are final. Due to the planning and preparation required for these events, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including cancellations, schedule conflicts, or personal circumstances.
We recommend considering travel insurance or similar options to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.

What is included in the pricing?
The prices are listed per person and include one bed, two dinners, two breakfasts, one lunch, four yoga classes, nightly s'mores by the fire, parking, WiFi, and a facilitated trip to Starved Rock.
Are refunds available if I cancel?
Refunds are not available. Please be sure before registering. We understand things happen, and we are happy to help you resell your spot to someone else.
Are there additional expenses?
You can set up a tab at the retreat center for personal items. Regular coffee is included, and there is a coffee bar for lattes and other specialty drinks available for purchase. There is also an airstream bar where you can order mixed drinks, beer or wine.
Is there a convenience store nearby?
Yes, there is a convenience store on-site for any essentials you may need.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Solo travelers are warmly welcomed, and this retreat is a wonderful way to connect with community and make new friends.
What style of yoga will we practice?
We will practice Hatha-Vinyasa style yoga with options to modify or challenge yourself. Classes will include movement, breathwork, and relaxation.
Do you provide yoga mats and props?
No, please bring your own yoga mat and any props you like to use for your practice.
Where will the yoga be done?
Morning classes will be held in a large outdoor pavilion- there is shade. Afternoon classes take place on a dock by the river- this is in the sun. All classes are outdoors —please bring a towel, wear a hat or sunscreen, and be prepared for practice in the elements.
How do I get there?
The retreat is held at Camp Aramoni in Tonica, IL. Transportation is not included, so you will need to drive yourself. We are happy to help connect attendees who want to carpool—let us know if you are interested.
What is the food like?
Breakfast will be a traditional American-style breakfast, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Dinners are ordered off a menu with choices to suit different dietary needs. Lunch is picnic-style with sandwiches to go, including vegan and gluten-free options.
What is the weather like?
In June, Tonica, IL typically has warm, humid weather with daytime highs in the mid-80s to low-90s°F (29-32°C) and cooler evenings in the 60s°F (17-20°C). Expect plenty of sunshine, occasional clouds, and the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms. Pack layers, sunscreen, a hat, and rain gear just in case.
Is there WiFi and cell service?
Yes, the common area and tents at Camp Aramoni have WiFi and cell service available for attendees to stay connected.
Is alcohol allowed?
There is a bar on-site in an cute little air stream where you can purchase drinks, but alcohol is not included in the retreat price. You will pay for any drinks out of pocket.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at the retreat to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.
Are there wild animals on site?
Wild animals are present in the area but not commonly seen. You might spot deer, foxes, birds, and other natural wildlife. Please be mindful of your surroundings and dispose of trash properly to help keep the area safe and clean.
